Moderation (Suntinel)
Suntinel is SunBot's moderator, free on every server. Every action is a numbered case on the member's record, a DM telling them why, and a card in your mod-log channel.
Setting it up
- Pick or create a private #mod-log: Dashboard → Moderation, or
/admin→ Suntinel. - Decide whether members get a DM saying why (on by default).
- Check SunBot's role is above the roles of the members it will moderate.
The commands

Each command is hidden from members without the matching Discord permission. You can change who sees what in Server Settings → Integrations → SunBot.
The rules
Nobody can moderate themselves, SunBot, another bot, the server owner, or anyone whose top role is as high as their own. The bot says which rule stopped it.
The mod log
Every case posts a card to the mod log: the member, the moderator, the reason and the case number; timeouts show when they end. Purges and slowmodes get a card too. The cards ping nobody.
On the dashboard
The Moderation page shows the week in numbers and the newest cases, can take a case back, picks the mod log and has the DM switch. /admin → Suntinel has the same in Discord.
