💰 Money falls from the sky

When a channel gets lively (a handful of people talking at once), there's a chance a bag of coins drops into it. The first person to press Grab keeps it. After a minute and a half it's gone.

• You don't need to be a player yet. Most people on a server chat and never type a command. One grab and you're in: first-time grabbers get the same welcome, with today's missions, as anyone else's first command.
• It's rare, on purpose. At most one bag an hour in a channel, a few a day per server, and only in channels where people already use the bot. A bag is worth a quarter to a half of your server's daily bonus.
• It's the server's money. A bag comes out of the server fund when the fund can afford it. When it can't, the bot may add at most two bags a day on its own.
• Admins decide. Switch it off, or set how often bags may fall, on the dashboard's Games page or in /admin → 🚀 Features.

📰 Your server has a newspaper

Every Monday morning, SunBot prints a newspaper about your server's week, a real front page with a masthead:

• a headline written from the week's biggest moment, and a line with players, new faces and the game everyone played
• Player of the week with their avatar in newspaper halftone, by the numbers with leader dots, the casino weather, the crash report, the biggest win and the streak watch
• classifieds that are really tips ("Lost: a daily streak. Reward: coins every day. Reply to /daily"), and yes, a coffee ring

It's printed in the server's language (English or Ukrainian) and only after a week with at least a few players, so a quiet server never gets an empty paper. It goes to your announcements channel, or events, or the bot's channel. Admins can switch it off on the Games page or in /admin → 🚀 Features.

☀️ SunCoin: a coin that's yours on every server

Server coins belong to a server. SunCoin belongs to you: one wallet that follows you to every server with SunBot.

• Earn it by playing: 2 SC for your /daily, 8 SC for finishing all three missions, up to 15 a day across all your servers, plus streak milestones: 25 at 7 days, 40 at 14, 100 at 30. That's one streak, however many servers you claim it on, so it pays once.
• /suncoin shows your wallet, today's progress and your last few earnings.
• Spend it on your look: /suncoin → 🛍️ opens the shop. Frames around your avatar, themes for your card, a badge by your name and a title under it, from 80 to 400 SC. Try one on before you buy it; it shows on /rank and /profile on every server, and your badge sits next to your name in /leaderboard. The same shop is on your profile page at dashboard.sunbotapp.com.
• Coming next: Server Boost, where members chip in SunCoin to give their server Premium days.
• What it's never for: SunCoin never goes into a game of chance, never turns into server coins, and is never cashed out. Admins can't hand it out either: it's earned by playing, nothing else. The casino stays free play money, forever.

🏆 Two achievement books: your server's and SunBot's

/achievements now has two tabs:

• This server: the standard achievements plus the ones your admins made. A server achievement can pay coins, XP and a role, so "reach level 25" can finally come with the role people brag about.
• SunBot: one book for everyone, counted across all your servers: rounds played, wins, streaks, servers visited, missions, and more. Each one pays SunCoin, once.

Admins: make your own on the dashboard's new Achievements page or in /admin → 🏆 Achievements. Pick a rule (level, messages, streak, net worth, wins, rounds, total wagered) and a number, or make one you hand out by hand. You can also switch a standard one off or give it a reward, and see how many members have each. Free servers make up to 3, Basic 10, Premium as many as they like.

👋 A better first day, and a /help that's actually a map

• The welcome does more. Your first command on a server now comes with your three missions for today and what they pay, and points you to blackjack or crash, where everyone here starts.
• /help is rewritten as tabs: 🚀 Start, 🎰 Play, 💰 Earn, 🛠️ Run your server (admins only) and 🌐 Web & support. It describes the bot as it is today and doesn't promise cooldowns your server has changed.
• /dashboard gives you a link to your profile, stats and shop on the web, and /daily reminds you now and then that the web claim pays +200 more.
• What's new finds you. When a dev log like this one comes out, the bot mentions it once, after your next command, and the dashboard shows a small what's new bar until you read it or close it.

🛡️ Suntinel: moderation that comes with the bot

Most servers run a second bot just to warn people. Not any more. Meet Suntinel, SunBot's own moderator, free on every server:

• /warn: a warning with a reason goes on the member's record as a numbered case, #1, #2, #3… for your server.
• /timeout: Discord's own timeout, from 60 seconds to a week, or lift one early. The case is written only once Discord has actually applied it.
• /kick and /ban: the member hears why first, then they're out, and the case is written only once Discord did it. /ban also takes someone who already left (by their id) and can sweep their messages from the last hour, day or week. /unban lifts one.
• /note: a note on a member's record that only moderators see ("alt of @someone", "warned in voice"). The member is never told.
• /warnings: a member's record, newest first, with a menu to take one warning back and a button to clear them all. Taken back means crossed out, never deleted.
• /purge deletes a channel's newest messages, all of them or one member's, and never a pinned one. /slowmode makes people wait between messages, from 5 seconds to 6 hours.
• Every case sends the member a DM telling them why (you can switch DMs off) and a card to your mod-log channel; purges and slowmodes get a card too.
• The rules are strict: nobody can moderate themselves, SunBot, another bot, the server owner, or anyone whose top role is as high as their own. Each command is hidden from members without the matching Discord permission.
• On the web: the new Moderation page shows the week in numbers and the newest cases, has a Take back button, lets you pick or create a private #mod-log, and has the DM switch. In Discord, the same things are under /admin → 🛡️ Suntinel.

That's the free part. Next come the things big servers need: auto-mod, anti-raid, a verification gate, and jail with bail paid in coins, because it's SunBot.

🎭 Buttons that hand out roles

Buttons on messages from the Announce page can now give or take a role: toggle (press to get it, press again to drop it), give only, or take only. Pings, colours, games, regions: self-roles without another bot.

A button will never hand out @everyone, an integration's role, a role above the bot, or any role with moderator powers. The dashboard greys those out and says why, and the bot checks again on every press, in case someone moved the role since you posted.

👑 Your bot, your brand

The first of the Premium features built for big servers: give SunBot your server's own name, avatar, banner and bio. It shows only on your server; everywhere else it's still SunBot.

• On the dashboard (Server page) with a live preview of how the bot will look in chat.
• In Discord: /admin → 🎨 Your bot. The avatar and banner are uploaded right in the form, and the bot resizes them for you.
• If Premium ends, the bot quietly goes back to looking like SunBot.

🪙 Make it yours: your currency, your words, your cards, your logo

Four ways to make SunBot sound and look like your server:

• Your own currency (Basic): an emoji, a sign or a word (🪙, 💎 gems, gold) after every amount: in replies, on the /profile and /rank cards, in the games. Dashboard → Economy.
• Your own words (Basic): the welcome a new player gets with their first command, and the level-up post, with {user}, {level}, {rank} and friends. Dashboard → Server, with a live preview.
• Your own card backgrounds (Premium): a picture of your choice behind everyone's /rank and /profile cards on your server, dimmed as much as you like so the numbers stay readable. Dashboard → Server, with a preview before you save.
• Your logo on the Monday paper (Premium): your server's icon printed as a seal on both sides of the masthead.

📺 Your YouTube, Twitch and RSS, posted for you

Your community posts somewhere else too: a YouTube channel, a Twitch stream, a blog. Now SunBot tells your server the moment something new is out:

• YouTube: a new video, from a channel link or its @handle. Twitch: a stream going live, with the game. RSS or Atom: anything with a feed, like a blog, patch notes or a subreddit.
• You pick the channel and, if you like, a role to ping, so only the people who asked for it get pinged.
• SunBot's card, or your own. 🎨 Design the post opens the Announce builder with {title}, {url}, {thumbnail} and friends, so the post looks like the rest of your server.
• Nothing old gets posted. A new feed starts from what's out now; after that, only what's new. Post the latest now shows you what it will look like.
• How many: 1 feed on Free, 3 on Basic, 15 on Premium. Dashboard → Feeds; the on/off switch is also in /admin → 🚀 Features.

🏁 A new season, whenever you want one

Some servers want a fresh start: a new season, or an economy that got out of hand. Until now the only way was one player at a time. Now the server owner can start a new season from Dashboard → Economy:

• Pick what starts over: money (back to your starting balance), XP and levels (rank roles follow), items.
• If you like, SunBot announces it with this season's top 3 and what starts over.
• History stays: transactions, casino stats and achievements. To be safe, it asks you to type NEW SEASON, and allows one new season a day.

Free on every server. It exists because a server owner asked for it, so keep asking.

⏳ Your trial starts when you're ready

The 7 days of Basic used to start the second SunBot joined, often before anyone had set it up, so most trials ran out unused. Now a new server starts on Free and the trial starts when /setup is done. The finish screen tells you until when. If your trial ran out before you ever finished /setup, you get one when you do.

🧩 /admin and the dashboard, twins again

Anything you can change on the web you can now change in Discord too, and the other way round:

• 🚀 Features is back in the /admin menu. It had quietly lost its button, which hid the switches for crash, sports bets, events, giveaways, counting, role income, dashboard buttons and missions. It also has the new ones: coin drops (with how often) and the Monday paper.
• 🛡️ Suntinel, 🏆 Achievements and 🎨 Your bot are new /admin sections, twins of the Moderation page, the Achievements page and the Server page's brand card.
• Add to Discord from our site now brings you straight to your new server's dashboard, with its first steps ready.

🔧 The small things

• Every command on one page: sunbotapp.com/commands.html, grouped and searchable. It's written from the bot's own code, so it's never out of date.
• These dev logs have a feed: https://sunbotapp.com/feed.xml. Add it as an RSS feed on your server's Feeds page, and the next dev log posts itself in your announcements.
• A site search engines and AI assistants can read. Every page, every dev log and the API docs are properly listed, and the site tells assistants what SunBot is and when it fits. So when you ask one for "a Discord economy bot with games and free moderation", or "does SunBot have an API?", it should know (it does: a free, read-only leaderboard API).
• For a while, buying Basic or Premium could end on a Whop "not found" page. Fixed. If a checkout link is ever wrong again, you get "try again in a bit" instead of a dead page, and I hear about it the same minute.
• A mistyped address on sunbotapp.com now shows the "not found" page instead of quietly showing the home page, and the Ukrainian page's share link opens the Ukrainian page.
• On a server whose bot had a custom banner, the brand card could vanish from the dashboard. Fixed the same day.
