Drops, the paper & events
The things that make a server feel alive without anyone having to run them by hand.
Coin drops
When a channel gets lively (a handful of people talking at once), a bag of coins can drop into it. The first person to press Grab keeps it; after a minute and a half it's gone.
- At most one bag an hour in a channel and a few a day per server, only in channels where people already use the bot. A bag is worth a quarter to a half of the server's daily bonus.
- Bags come out of the server fund when it can afford them; when it can't, the bot may add at most two a day on its own.
- A member's first grab welcomes them like a first command, with today's missions.
- Admins: switch it off, or set how often (15 to 1,440 minutes between bags, 1 to 24 bags a day), on the Games page or in
/admin→ Features.
The Monday paper
Every Monday morning SunBot prints a newspaper page about your server's week: a headline from the week's biggest moment, player of the week with their avatar, the numbers, the casino weather, the crash report, the biggest win, a streak watch, and classifieds that are really tips.
- It's written in the server's language and only after a week with a few players in it, so a quiet server never gets an empty paper.
- It goes to the announcements channel, or the events channel, or the bot's channel.
- Premium prints your server's logo on both sides of the masthead.
- Admins: switch it off on the Games page or in
/admin→ Features.
Events
Events change the economy for a while: double income, higher limits, bigger payouts. /events starts one or sets one up; on Basic and Premium they run on a schedule by themselves (dashboard: Events page). The Telegram panel pings you when one goes live.
Giveaways
/giveaway runs a coin giveaway: members press to enter and a winner is drawn when it ends. Manage them on the dashboard's Giveaways page too.
Announcements with buttons
The dashboard's Announce page builds a message with a live preview: text, images, sections, and buttons that do things when pressed.
- Reward buttons: pay coins or XP, or give an item, once per member.
- Role buttons: give, take or toggle a role, for self-roles like pings, colours and games. A button never hands out @everyone, an integration's role, a role above the bot or a role with moderator powers; the dashboard greys those out, and the bot checks again on every press.
- Link buttons and saved templates.
- Live buttons per kind: 3 on Free, 10 on Basic, unlimited on Premium.
/announce in Discord posts a quick one.
The counting game
Pick a counting channel in /setup or on the Config page and members count up together, one number each. It can be switched off in /admin → Features.
