Social feeds
New YouTube videos, Twitch streams going live and anything with an RSS or Atom feed, posted to the channel you pick.
Adding a feed
- Dashboard → Feeds → Add.
- Pick the kind and paste the source: a YouTube channel link or its
@handle, a Twitch channel link or name, or a feed's address. - Pick the channel, and if you like, a role to ping.
Post the latest now shows what a post will look like. A new feed starts from what's out now, so nothing old is posted; after that, only what's new, oldest first, a few at a time.
Designing the post
SunBot's card works out of the box. For your own, Design the post opens the Announce builder with placeholders you can put anywhere, links included:

A broken image or link button is left out rather than posted broken; buttons that do things (coins, roles) aren't allowed in a feed post.
How fast
- YouTube and Twitch tell SunBot the moment a video is out or a stream starts, so the post arrives within about a minute. They're also checked now and then in case a notice got lost.
- RSS and Atom are checked every 10 minutes.

A feed that fails 10 checks in a row pauses itself and the Feeds page says why; switching it back on clears the errors. The on/off switch for all feeds is also in /admin → Features.
