👤 For players: your side of the economy
- My Profile — level, net worth, streak, today's missions, the buffs and title you're wearing, and the daily bonus right at the top. Claim it on the web and it pays +200 on top of the usual amount. Level up or climb the money board since your last visit and the page tells you so before anything else.
- My Stats — your casino record and weekly P/L, a provably-fair verifier that recomputes a crash round's hash in your own browser, and a real bet slip: pick 1 / X / 2 on a fixture, type a stake, see the payout, confirm. Same checks, same odds, same rules as
/bet. - Leaderboard — balance, XP, wins and this week, with a search that actually searches. Your own row stays in view so you always know where you stand.
- Shop & Bag — buy items, see exactly what each one does before you pay, and use them from your bag. Same purchase as
/shop, same effects, same bag. - Share card — one tap mints a signed public link to your profile that unfurls into your card wherever you paste it.
📱 It's a phone thing now
Most of you open it from Discord on a phone, so the dashboard got a proper phone layout instead of a shrunken desktop: a bottom bar with Profile · Stats · Board · Shop under your thumb, a menu drawer with every page spelled out, forms that don't zoom, and player cards and item editors that open as sheets from the bottom. Hit Add to Home Screen and it installs like an app, icon and all. (The website's menu button had also wandered off-screen on phones. It's back.)
🎯 Three missions a day
Every player now gets three daily missions, picked for you from a pool of eight: play five rounds, win three, cash out at 2× or better, win a coinflip, wager 5,000, chat a bit, buy something in the shop, claim your daily. New three at midnight UTC.
- Each one pays 30% of your server's daily bonus + 25 XP the moment it's done — no claim button. Finish all three and there's another 50% + 50 XP on top.
/missionsshows today's three and how far along you are; so does your profile on the web.- Admins get MISSIONS TODAY on the Command Center — how many players are on them, how many finished all three — and a switch on the Games page if missions don't fit the server.
🚀 Crash, rebuilt
/crash, sped up.- Join from the lobby. The crash lobby has a 🚀 Join button (bet and auto cash-out in one box) and 🔁 Same bet for the next round. The last ten crash points sit right there, and the round's sealed seed hash is on screen before anyone bets — check it afterwards with the 🔐 Verify button.
- An always-on table. Give crash a channel (Games → crash → always-on table) and that channel always has a lobby open: the first join starts the countdown, and a fresh table appears after every round.
- Smoother, and exact. One frame a second where the multiplier, the picture and the CASH OUT button always agree, and the round busts exactly at its crash point — no phantom tick above it.
🎰 A jackpot for slots, and friends
- A progressive jackpot. Admins can set a jackpot cut (Games → GLOBAL): that share of every losing bet, in any game, goes into a pool, and three 7️⃣ on a slots payline take all of it. The pool shows under every spin.
- Coinflip challenges —
/coinflip createwith an opponent makes a private challenge only they can accept. - Tower's cash-out button now says exactly what you'd walk away with.
🧭 For admins: is anything wrong, and what needs me?
The managing pages open by answering that question — at the cap, plan expiring, fund empty, bot gone quiet — and each warning names the page that fixes it. Then:
- Command Center — the server's pulse, the four places you'll go next, and an activity feed with faces and names. A new server also gets five first steps (finish
/setup, pick the bot's channels, rank roles, stock the shop, start an income or an event) that tick themselves off as the bot sees you do them. - Advisor — tips from your own server's numbers: where the new money comes from, whether the casino pays out more than it takes, how many of the people chatting ever tried the bot, how many newcomers come back, when the server is busiest. Each tip names its evidence and the page to change it on.
- Economy — an honest verdict: inflating or not, how fast, which faucet is pouring, which sink is draining, who holds the money — and what to do about it.
- Users — search by name, open a player and get the whole picture: thirty days of activity, casino P/L, streak, roles, recent money, and every admin action ever taken on them. Adjust their balance or XP right there.
- Role Income — salaries with a live copy of the payday message and what the salary costs the economy per week before you switch it on.
- Events — multiplier, timer, colour, the exact @everyone embed, START / STOP, and the bot's own auto-trigger.
- Giveaways — launch from the browser with a currency, item or text prize, see who's in, draw, reroll. Currency prizes pay every winner the moment they're drawn.
- Config — every setting the bot actually reads, with a save state that counts your edits and a save button that rides along with the page. Plus Access: which roles may run giveaways, post announcements, see analytics or adjust players — without handing out Administrator.
🛒 Items that actually do something
Until now a shop item was a name, a price and a description — the "VIP role for a week" part was you, by hand. Now an item carries its own effects, and the bot runs them:
- give a role (for a set number of hours, if you like — it comes off by itself), or take one away
- coins in or out, XP, a timed XP boost, a streak shield that absorbs one missed daily, a title on the profile
- a message — to the buyer, or to a channel
- a loot box: weighted outcomes, each of them any of the above
Effects run on purchase, on use, or when the item runs out, and an item can have requirements — a role, a level, a balance, another item. Start from a preset (VIP pass, XP boost, shield, loot box, voucher, flex) or build your own. Whether someone buys on the web, in /shop or from /inventory, it's the same path — discounts, bank rules, stock and expiry included.
📢 Messages with buttons that do things
The Announce page is a message builder with a live Discord preview — text, embeds, the new component layouts, images — posted as the bot to any channel. The part I'm proudest of: you can put buttons on it that run inside the bot.
First come, first served: press the button for 500 coins. Once each.
- Give coins (or charge them) · give XP · a timed XP boost · grant an item · send a canned reply
- Per-user limits, cooldowns and role gates, so a "claim 500 coins" button can be once per person, staff-only, or open season
- Schedule it for later — pick a time, walk away, the bot posts it
Think welcome messages that hand out starter cash, event posts with a "join" reward, a Friday drop that's live for exactly as long as you say. Every button keeps working for as long as the message exists — the definition lives on our side, not in the message.
🧩 Everything /admin could do, and the things it couldn't
The last of the slash-command panels moved over. Every /admin section now opens its dashboard twin with one click, and three pages exist only here:
- Server — the page that answers "what does the bot need on this server?" Permissions it's missing, the roles it hands out (Muted, Anti-Rob, VIP, Weekly Top, King of the Server…) and whether each one still exists, is above the bot, or got renamed, the channels it posts to. Every problem comes with a fix button: create the role, link the one you already have, sync the rank roles. And you can switch any managed role off — no Anti-Rob on your server if you don't want it. Once a night the bot re-checks and tells you if something drifted.
- Ranks & XP — the whole ladder in one place: levels, names, the Discord role behind each rank (reorder with arrows or drag, and Discord follows), how XP is earned, a server-wide XP event with a timer, colour gradients for the rank roles, per-channel multipliers, role bonuses.
- Games — every casino game with its switch, limits, cooldown and bonus, 30-day numbers next to each one, a global luck knob, the jackpot cut, and who gets extra payout — by role or by name.
💳 Free for every server, plans from the page
As always: the dashboard is free for every server. Plans only raise the caps — how many shop items (5 / 25 / unlimited), how many live buttons per kind (3 / 10 / unlimited) — and unlock the paid extras you already know, Role Income and Sports Betting.
And when you do hit a lock, the upgrade is right there: buy a plan from the dashboard, no detour through /premium. The page and the message after paying show what you just unlocked, a renewal extends your plan the moment it's paid, and a payment that fails or a plan that runs out now tells you so.
🔔 Telegram that taps you on the shoulder
The Telegram panel (Premium, /tglink) used to only answer questions. Now it tells you things: a win past your line, the server fund running low, a role or channel the bot relies on gone missing, an event going live, a giveaway drawn — and every Monday morning, your week in five lines. Each push comes with a button straight to the player, the fund or the dashboard page; pick which ones you get in Config or in the panel's 🔔 settings. Adding a co-admin is a tap too: choose what they may do, send them the invite link.
The split is simple: the dashboard is the workbench, Telegram is the pager and the remote. Anything with a form lives on the web; Telegram keeps the lookups and the one-tap actions.
🏠 A new home, and updates you'll barely notice
This week SunBot moved to a new server, with the database right next door instead of across the internet. You shouldn't have noticed the move itself — which was the point.
Every release used to restart the bot on the spot — mid-crash-round, mid-poker-hand. Now an update waits for a quiet moment (nobody mid-game, hardly any commands), then stops taking new bets while whatever is running finishes first: your cash-out still lands, your coinflip still resolves. If a bet does get cut, it's refunded on the next boot, every time. The restart itself takes seconds.
And the website, the payment pages and the dashboard no longer restart with the bot — they run on their own. While the bot is updating, the dashboard keeps working from saved data (settings still save; anything that needs Discord waits a moment), and the website's footer says the bot is restarting instead of just going quiet.
🔍 Keeping the casino honest
Every night the bot now checks every game's real payout against its math — over enough rounds to tell bad luck from a bug, and it says so when there aren't enough yet. Its first run caught two games that had drifted from their design: the Wheel of Fortune was paying back more than it should, and Plinko's low-risk 12-row board less. Both are back in line with the rest of the casino.
And /setup's Casino template no longer adds a hidden payout bonus. If your server was set up with it, the Advisor points it out — keeping it is your call.
🏛️ A community server worth joining
The SunBot server got rebuilt around how people actually use it:
- #feature-requests and #bugs are forums now. Every post gets a 👍/👎 the moment it lands, the most-voted ideas get built first, and a bug report reaches me within seconds — with a link.
- Roles that follow the facts. Join and you get what you are: Bot User if you've played anywhere, your plan if you run a server on it, 🔥 Active Server if yours is alive, 🌱 Early Adopter if your server had SunBot before July. Nothing to ask for; it updates itself.
- A proper welcome, a quick-start guide, an FAQ, and a support button that opens a private thread with the team.
⌨️ The small things
- Ctrl K opens a command palette — jump to any page, start an event, add an item, switch server. g then a letter jumps straight there; ? lists them all.
- Every action gets a proper toast, and the destructive ones get UNDO.
- Any ID on screen is click-to-copy. Big numbers round for reading and show the exact figure on hover.
- Lose your connection for a second and a banner says so — and the page catches up by itself when it's back. A page that can't load says so in one honest card, and a refresh never wipes what you were typing.
- A CRT toggle, because I couldn't help myself. And the mascot, everywhere the old drawn sun used to be. 📺
🐛 Fixes & polish
- Your daily streak counts days, not claims — claiming in Discord and on the web on the same day used to count twice.
- Levels always match XP:
/rankand/leaderboardcould disagree about your level. They don't any more, and every stale level was put right. - If the Activity greeted you with "Token exchange failed" on September 23–24 — that was us, right after the move. Fixed.
- Income commands are yours to tune: cooldowns and payouts for
/work,/crime,/roband friends live in Config → ⏱️ Income commands. - Giveaway currency prizes are paid on draw. They weren't always — sorry, and thank you to whoever reported it.
- Profile shows a real join date and an honest streak timer; the leaderboard no longer fetches names one player at a time; a switch between servers no longer carries the previous server's state with it.
- First login no longer greets you with "No servers found" until a refresh; the LEVEL UP banner stops congratulating you on another server's level; a daily claimed on one server no longer locks the button on all the others.
- Chat XP no longer skips people Discord hadn't introduced to the bot yet (thread starters, brand-new members).
- A channel that refuses the bot (permissions pulled, channel locked) is left alone for half an hour instead of being retried on every event — and the Server page tells you which one.
- Twelve DMs to the bot in a row is one notification to me, not twelve — so I still read every one.
- When something does break on our side, I hear exactly what and where, so the fix lands the same day.
